Privacy policy

Tezal Consulting ("we") runs tezalconsulting.com. This policy explains what we collect when you use the site, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• What you send us. When you fill out the intro form, a questionnaire, or the contact form, we collect what you type: your name, email address, phone number if you add one, and your answers or message.
• Chat messages. If you use the chat assistant, what you type is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to write the replies. We save chat conversations, and any ratings you give the chat, so we can see which questions the assistant answers well and improve the site. If you ask us to follow up, request a call, or book a consultation in the chat, we save your name and contact details with the conversation, the same way as a form. Please don't share passwords or card numbers in the chat.
• Free website scan. If you run a free scan, we save your name, title, email, phone number, business name, the website you entered, and the results, so we can email your results, limit free scans to one per website each quarter, and have a consultant follow up. If a website was scanned recently, we may show a partly hidden version of the email address that requested it (for example, t*******@example.com). To check spelling and speed, the scan sends the public text and address of your website to LanguageTool and Google PageSpeed Insights; it doesn't send your name or email.
• Website plan details and files. If you sign up for a website plan, we save the answers you give about your business and any files you upload, such as your logo and photos, in private storage with our database provider, Supabase. Only we can see them, and we use them only to build and run your website.
• Booking details. If you book a consultation, our scheduling provider collects your name, contact details, and appointment time. Payments are handled by the payment processor; we never see your full card number.
• Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, to keep the site secure and working. We also count visits in aggregate to see which pages are useful.
• How the site is used. We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site, such as where people click and scroll and which parts are confusing. Clarity records page interactions using cookies, and it hides what you type into forms and the chat. We use this only to improve the site. You can learn more in Microsoft's privacy statement.
• Your section choice. The site remembers whether you picked the business or home section using storage in your own browser. It isn't sent to us.

How we use it

We use your information only to reply to you, plan and provide the help you ask for, schedule appointments, and keep the site secure. We don't sell your information or share it with advertisers.

Who helps us

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the site and our business: website hosting, a secure database for form submissions, chat conversations, and files you upload, an AI provider for the chat assistant, website checking tools and an email delivery service for the free scan, site usage analytics (Microsoft Clarity), email, appointment scheduling, and payments. They handle your information only to provide those services to us.

How long we keep it

We keep your information as long as we need it to help you and for our business records. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we have about you, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email hello@tezalconsulting.com and we'll respond within a few business days.

Children

This site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
